I wanted to have a little drink before shopping for dinner. Cash only Pre-paid basket system. There are many one-person customers at the counter. Japanese Conveyor-belt Sushi Restaurant “Uobei”

This is one of the cheapest conveyor-belt sushi restaurants in Japan.　The food is delivered to your hand on the rail quickly after ordering.

It’s not particularly good sushi, but it’s a conveyor belt sushi restaurant where everything is good as standard.　Young people come to the restaurant to eat a lot because it is inexpensive!

The ordering process may be quite difficult for foreigners to understand.

You will go through the receptionist at the display. At that time, press the button for the number of people you want to eat. After that, you choose your sushi. Apparently, this is a secret option to make sure you don’t get the order wrong. I chose salmon. When your turn comes, your number is displayed. At that point, you go to the machine where you have been accepted and it asks you, “What character did you choose? You will be asked, “What character did you choose?” Please choose the option that you are confident of. This is a rare form of waiting for a turn in Japan!

I ordered a big sized whiskey with soda to start with, and it was bigger than I expected.
It came in at a whopping 700 yen!
