Today, too, I am drinking alone. I was wandering around today, and while shopping at a liquor store a little far from here that I sometimes visit, I saw a sake labeled “limited edition” that tempted me! The label design was quite nice, so I picked it up and took a closer look. Something about it made me think of a sake ranking on YouTube. There are red and white, and it says truth, so I choose truth!

The True White white chrysanthemum
The label is nice, isn’t it? I looked at the brewery and found that it is located in Kujukuri, Chiba Prefecture, which is hard to imagine sake in Chiba, but it is a local sake. I looked up the brewery and found that it has a 130-year history. Other than that, there is not much detailed information on the official website. The design is stylish. The material used is Omachi.
What is Omachi?
Omachi is a variety of rice that is considered to be the root of sake rice. Toward a full-bodied taste. It is a variety that has been cultivated for more than 100 years, selected and improved in 1866 from an ear of rice brought back by Jinzo Kishimoto of Omachi, Takashima-mura, Okayama Prefecture, on his way home from a pilgrimage to Mount Daisen in Hoki Province. The variety grown today was re-selected in 1921 at the Okayama Agricultural Support Center.
The stylish design is still the screw cap.
The logo mark can also be seen on the website. Opening the bottle
The ginjo aroma is like green apples.
Gulp it down!
Japanese ranking 25th
Chiba ranking 1th
No unpleasant taste. It is a sake with a pleasant aroma. The alcohol taste is also restrained. There is quite a bit of sweetness. It is similar to the Kaze no Mori series, which is carbonated and refreshing to finish. The taste is refreshing and has a green apple flavor. It is suitable for women and beginners. It has a sweet taste and the alcohol content is not low, so it is better to drink it in small sips rather than in large gulps. It is an aperitif. It has a strong aroma, so it goes well with light-flavored dishes.
The mackerel has a strong flavor, so the aroma and the taste are a bit clashing, but the strong flavor is not bad.
It was another good day.
