Precious sake obtained at the brewery.

When I visited the Shichiken brewery in Yamanashi Prefecture the other day, I found that I was still susceptible to limited edition sake.

It is a precious sake available only at the brewery. Mukohide I can’t read. How do you read it?

Seven Sages of Takebayashi” series

Seven types of “nama-shu” ranging from junmai-daiginjo to honjozo, named after the “Seven Wise Men of the Takebayashi Forest”.
The new sake is freshly squeezed and bottled without heat treatment, and can only be enjoyed at the brewery.
These are limited-edition nama-zake that can only be tasted at the brewery.

There is no way to read it, and it appears to be Chinese. The name is said to be named after a real-life outstanding Chinese person.

There is a family crest firmly on the cap.

The aroma is a kid-type ginjo aroma that is popular nowadays.

Shichiken taste evaluation

The aroma is not that strong and the finish is sharp. It is easy to drink without any unpleasant taste. It is suitable for beginners. It is a light and dry sake, which is the current trend. It seems to go well with light fish rather than meat-based dishes. You may drink this sake alone as an aperitif. It is very easy to drink and worth going to the brewery to buy. It may not be suitable for those who like old-fashioned sake.

Today’s snack

I thought salt and sesame might go together. They met. Jagariko might go well with sake.
