Premium Kaiō Sushi, a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant located in Odaiba, a popular tourist spot in Tokyo, serves delicious sushi made with ingredients from Toyama Bay in Toyama Prefecture.

I visited a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant in Odaiba, Tokyo, again because I had enjoyed my meal there the last time I went.

It’s located in Odaiba DiverCity. It’s a spacious conveyor-belt sushi restaurant. Odaiba is a reclaimed area on Tokyo’s waterfront that is home to various shopping malls and television stations.

Perhaps because there are many foreign visitors, there are notices in various languages at the entrance. We were greeted at the entrance. It seems there aren’t many customers on Friday nights.

It seems that sushi generally doesn’t come with wasabi. The menu may feature mostly classic fish selections, and you’ll place your order using a tablet.

The sushi restaurant is themed around Toyama Prefecture,
with the concept: “From Toyama! A conveyor-belt sushi restaurant featuring carefully crafted sushi that showcases fresh ingredients from Toyama Bay.” The sushi was quite fresh. It’s telling that they serve sake from Toyama.
Since there are many sushi varieties not listed on the website, I think it’s worth visiting the restaurant in person. Prices are a bit on the high side—as you’d expect in a tourist area—but personally, I found them acceptable. I’d be dissatisfied if it were expensive but not delicious, but it wasn’t bad at all. There are plenty of other fun places to visit in Odaiba, so it might be fun to eat your fill and then wander around.

I was very satisfied again today.

Thank you for your support.
