A comforting bowl of ramen, here I come.
A ramen shop inside Tamachi Tower, about a 5-minute walk from Tamachi Station.
Weekday, 1:30 PM, no wait.
Greeted cheerfully by the floor staff, I bought my meal ticket first before taking a seat.Sunlight streams in from outside, making the bright interior feel pleasant.

Today’s order:
Chūka Soba
Took about 5 minutes to arrive.
The clear broth looked beautiful. First sip.
You’d never guess pork bones were used—no gaminess or strong flavor at all. The perfectly balanced saltiness soaked into my body.

The flat noodles, a perfect match for this delicate broth, had a nice bite yet were easy to slurp down. My chopsticks moved effortlessly.
Dipping the generous pile of scallions into the piping hot broth releases their wonderful aroma, making the soup even more delicious.
The toppings are very simple, embodying the essence of Chinese noodles! No frills whatsoever. lol

The dark, crispy bamboo shoots feel somehow nostalgic.
And the perfectly arranged slices of chashu pork are absolutely superb. While hardly greasy at all, the meat is incredibly tender and free of any unpleasant odor.

I found myself savoring each slice, murmuring “This is delicious~” as I chewed.
Honestly, I’m not usually a big fan of chashu pork (it’s often greasy or has that distinctive smell…), but I found myself wanting more of this shop’s version.
I’d underestimated it because it’s a chain restaurant, but it was a truly delicious bowl.
