Kaiten sushi Toriton is located in the restaurant area of Atre in the Tokyo Shinagawa Station Station Building.

There is a long waiting list, but the order comes smoothly. Waiting for your turn outside the store. When your turn comes, wait a little in the waiting area inside the store.

The first drink is a beer to quench your thirst.

Unusual Nixon Roll Sushi. A smash hit at a Hokkaido restaurant with eel and cream cheese rolls.

Tuna and kanpachi

Horse mackerel and Toro salmon, avocado and tuna roll.

Other languages are also supported, even if they are not Japanese.

The restaurant is located in a very convenient location. The sushi is different from the famous conveyor-belt sushi and has a good taste. The price is a little expensive, but you can eat at a reasonable price. There is a counter and table seating, and the counter seating is ideal for a one-person meal with a short waiting time. There are not many alcoholic beverages available, so we recommend that you eat mainly sushi. Sake is also scarce.
It was another good day.
One year later, in 2026. Back at the sushi restaurant

We’re still waiting in line. This time, it’s been about 45 minutes.

Please note: You will receive a ticket. After that, you will be notified of your place in line via LINE, a messaging app unique to Japan. The screen in the middle shows which number is currently being called, which numbers are still waiting, and how many people are ahead of you. Basically, think of it as a standard queue.

Please keep this in mind. You can only sit down inside the restaurant once your number is called at the front desk. Many Japanese people mistakenly sit in empty seats, but let’s make sure we understand the rules.

Here’s what the inside looks like. There are mostly counter seats, with table seating to the left of the entrance. There are a lot of families here.
It’s sushi time. Let’s eat.

A dance of deliciousness.
Have a great weekend!
