Not very famous, but a standard pure sake. However, it won a gold medal in Niigata Prefecture.

Another day for a quiet solitary drink

I didn’t go to the liquor store much today. I tasted a bottle of sake and it was so good that I bought one!

The number of times it has been awarded the Gold Prize is 29 times in total.

Niigata Prefecture is famous for its sake, and the competition is fierce. Among these, the continuous awarding of this prize is to be expected.

You see the sake degree indicated.

Sake degree is a numerical value of the amount of sugar contained in sake. It is also used as a standard to help drinkers know how sweet or spicy sake is from what is listed in the sales section of a store or on a website. Sake degree is expressed as a positive or negative number, such as +3.0 or -1.0.

Comment:A
Visiting sake breweries on a business trip to Niigata to collect sake stamp books.
Niigata is far away. The taste is delicious.

Comment:B
If there is a sake in Niigata that is light, this is the one I would choose!
It has a good balance of rice flavor, aroma, and bitterness!
Versatile sake!

Yoshinokawa the best Ginjo Taste Evaluation

Easy to drink and well balanced. It has a somewhat Showa-era sake feel to it, so beginners may find it a bit alcoholic.

I warmed it up.

Better than cold. It is easier to drink as the corners are removed and the flavor and alcohol feel is diminished. This is recommended to be drunk warm.

Today’s snack

Grilled meat. Meat and hot sake go well together.

It was a good day, too.
