Typical Japanese brand of sake “Zaku”, sweet like white wine

Today is another day for a dusty, solitary sake.
February is the season for new sake. I will be having a sake drinking contest with my friends, so I chose a famous brand.

From the multiple selections, I started with “Saku”. It is a new sake. The pattern is Japanese blue. It is a new sake made in 2022.
It was fermented and manufactured last year, so the year is 2022 because of the difference in the time standard.

We received the second place in the world sake brewery ranking for the year 2022.

The Sake Brewery Ranking honors the sake breweries that received the most recognition in sake competitions held in Japan and abroad during the year.
In fiscal year 2022, our company received the second place in the ranking.

Easy to drink with little cloying taste. Seems to go well with oily raw fish, sashimi and fish.
Because it is a new sake, it has little richness. It is refreshing. Better to drink a little at a time than a lot.
Suitable for aperitifs and mid-meal drinks. Suitable for beginners to intermediate drinkers. For drinkers, a spicier sake may suit their palate better.
