Popular and famous sake “Akabu” Each taste is different.

Today, too, I’m going to drink alone.

I haven’t had this one for a while, so I thought I’d try it. So I bought it.

Akabu Junmaiginjyo Omachi

Not a special limited edition. The Akabu series is rather common. Whenever a limited edition sake is released, such as hiyaoroshi or summer sake, I tend to get a taste of it, but I have never had an orthodox one, so I decided to give it a try.

Akabu Junmaiginjyo Omachi Taste

It has a peculiar taste. The aroma is greenish, and the flavor is more characteristic of the aroma than the taste. The finish is complex after drinking.

It seems to go well with sashimi and strong meals. It may be suitable for people who have been drinking sake to some extent.

It is not for beginners. The taste is also slightly sour.

Today’s snack

I put ham and cheese in a hampen.

Sake and cheese go well together.

It was another good day.

Strong alcohol taste. It has a strong odor. Not for beginners. Unique aroma. Sourness after sweetness.

It may be a good choice for cooking. It has a complex taste with sweetness followed by sourness. It seems to go well with koji. It is easier to drink lukewarm than cold.

Fruit wine made by a sake brewery is exceptionally delicious

Today, too, I’m drinking alone in the dust.

  2. Hobiden Fully Ripe Momo Taste evalution

I saw something about it. I read that fruit liqueurs made by sake breweries are delicious. I was also told that liqueurs made by professionals in the field of fermentation have high potential. However, as a person who likes dry wine, I could not afford it. So I decided to just enjoy the taste of the liqueur, since my partner was going to drink it all up. I bought it for the first time. Hobiden Fully Ripe Momo

Hobiden Fully Ripe Momo Taste evalution

It is delicious. It is so easy to drink that it is hard to believe that it is alcohol, and because it contains pulp, you can drink more and more of it. However, if you like cocktails, you can drink a lot, but if you like dry sake, you will be satisfied after a few drinks. Suitable for women. As a peach juice, it is quite tasty, and as a drink, it is easy to drink because it does not have an alcoholic taste. Moreover, since the alcohol content is low, it does not make you drunken, so you can enjoy it just a little bit tipsy. This is a new world for me.

I didn’t try any snacks this time, but just tasted the flavor, and my partner said it was delicious and drank it in gulps.

Yoshinokawa the best Ginjo

The number of times it has been awarded the Gold Prize is 29 times in total.

Niigata Prefecture is famous for its sake, and the competition is fierce. Among these, the continuous awarding of this prize is to be expected.

You see the sake degree indicated.

Sake degree is a numerical value of the amount of sugar contained in sake. It is also used as a standard to help drinkers know how sweet or spicy sake is from what is listed in the sales section of a store or on a website. Sake degree is expressed as a positive or negative number, such as +3.0 or -1.0.

The logo is clearly visible.

Open the bottle!

The aroma is almost non-existent!

Gulp.

Comment A:
When it comes to Niigata sake, when it comes to “light” sake, this is the one for me!
It has a good balance of rice flavor, aroma, and bitterness!
Versatile sake!

Yoshinokawa the best Ginjo Taste Evaluation

Easy to drink and well balanced. It has a somewhat Showa-era sake feel to it, so beginners may find it a bit alcoholic.

I warmed it up.

Better than cold. It is easier to drink as the corners are removed and the flavor and alcohol feel is diminished. This is recommended to be drunk warm.

  3. Today’s snack

I am still visiting liquor stores alone.

Series Beau Michelle I bought it because the design is cute and the previous series were easy to drink.

Beau Michelle Limited Editions cotton candy

It was a limited edition product, and as usual, it is low in alcohol: 8%, 60% milled rice ratio. The milled rice ratio indicates how much of the rice is left unmilled. Naturally, the sweetness of the rice comes out. Therefore, it should be sweet.

Once turned over, the sake lees inside mixes and turns cloudy white.

The stopper has a little gas vent, which you don’t see very often.

Opening the bottle

Sweet aroma like amazake

Natural carbon dioxide gas

Nice shwash and good sound. It is cloudy, which is rare for sake.

Gulp it down!

Comment: A
Low-alcohol “Beau michelle”.
Lower alcohol content than strong canned chu-hai. Sweet and slightly sour.
Cider? Calpis sour? My vocabulary doesn’t seem to be able to describe it well.
I wonder how to make it like this?

Comment: B
This sake is brewed by the Banno Sake Brewery in Saku City, Nagano Prefecture. It is a limited edition spring product that contains more than twice the amount of oli as usual~.
The mouthfeel is like Calpis soda. When you drink it, the sweetness spreads quickly. The aftertaste is round and gradually disappears. It is similar to Mio, but this one has a more elegant taste.

Beau Michelle cotton candy Taste Evaluation

It is easy to drink. It is very easy to drink, with a hint of sweetness and no sourness characteristic of sake. It has a sweet taste that is different from wine, which is popular among women. It is refreshing and suitable for beginners. It is recommended to drink it as it is. It seems to go well with salads and fruits.

Today’s snack

I bought a small package from the supermarket.

I missed taking a picture while I was eating it, so I remembered and took a picture of the remaining one.

They are not bad together, but they have their own taste and there seems to be little synergy, but both are good.

Popular in Japan. Famous sake “Urakasumi

Today, too, I’m drinking alone in the dust.

Urakasumi Tokubestujunmai

Special freshly pressed sake The label looks like something you haven’t seen before.

Moreover, it is fresh, unpasteurized sake from Miyagi Prefecture, a rice-producing region.

It is said to be the birthplace of No. 12 yeast. ←Officialsite

Yeast is an important factor in determining the flavor of sake when making sake

This yeast was isolated in 1965 from the Urakasumi Sake Brewery in Miyagi Prefecture. It is suited for sake compounds that are slowly controlled at low temperatures. It has a high aroma and is suitable for ginjo-shu. Also known as “Urakasumi yeast” or “first generation Miyagi yeast.

From the Nada Sake Glossary

It is firmly logoed.

Comment: A
This is a special junmai with 60% milled rice; it was packed in January and left for about half a year before drinking, so the freshness is a little weak. The sugar content is more than 12%, but it is not so sweet. When chilled, the taste is surprisingly refreshing, and when warmed to about 20°C (68°F), the acidity and umami come out and the flavor becomes fuller and richer. The aftertaste of acidity and bitterness is surprisingly good. It can be served cold as it is, or warmed up with various dishes.

Comment: B
When opened, this sake has a flowery aroma. It has a soft and medium mouthfeel. It has a fruity and sweet flavor. It tastes like ripe peaches with a hint of nuttiness. It has a sour aftertaste and is very refreshing.

Urakasumi Tokubestujunmai Taste Evaluation

Very sweet and easy to drink. Fruity taste. It has a good balance and seems to go well with sweet, salty, and fatty foods. Recommended to drink cold. If you drink it hot, it may be too sweet. There is almost no distinctive alcohol taste. It is easy to drink like a fruit wine, so it is suitable for beginners.
